Call for applications: matching health enterprises with private sector expertise to improve family planning

We are pleased to announce that Project Last Mile has released a Request for Applications (RFA) for an exciting opportunity to match health enterprises and innovators with Project Last Mile’s private sector expertise to improve availability, access to or uptake of family planning in Africa.

Opportunity overview

With the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Project Last Mile is seeking to identify and support innovators and social enterprises which demonstrate a proven or promising market-based approach to improve the availability, access to, or uptake of family planning commodities or relevant products in Africa through Project Last Mile technical assistance in the area route-to-market. Successful applicants will be poised for growth and serving customers in eligible countries in Africa. You can learn more about the opportunity and submit your application HERE.

What does the project offer?

  • Access to one or more Project Last Mile subject matter experts with 20+ years of experience leading route-to-market initiatives in Africa within the Coca-Cola ecosystem and broader fast-moving consumer goods industries.
  • A practical solution designed, in partnership with the applicant to address a core challenge (or opportunity) the enterprise is working through to help improve availability, access or uptake of products.
  • Coaching and mentorship during the program period to help prepare for the execution of the solution.
